Independence Day of Mexico 墨西哥獨立日

Independence Day of Mexico is celebrated on 15 and 16 Sept with the start of the president shouting "Viva Mexico, Viva Hidalgo....." from the balcony of the National Palace in Mexico City at 11pm.

Then with thousands of Mexicans in zocalo, singing the national anthem, the festival continued with lots of fireworks.  This is called "el día del grito" or Day of cry for independence.

This commemorates Miguel Hidalgo’s rebellion against Spain, given in the town of Dolores on September 16, 1810.

墨西哥9月15日和16日開始慶祝獨立日，首先晚上11點總統會從墨西哥城National Palace陽台，高喊“墨西哥萬歲，Hidalgo萬歲......”。然後，成千上萬的墨西哥人聚在ZOCALO唱國歌，再以放煙花來延續。這就是“el día del grito”。
這是紀念Miguel Hidalgo在1810年9月16日於Dolores鎮對西班牙的反抗。

Then 16 Sept is followed by parades and marching bands in Paseo de Reforma ( el Angel de la Independencia ) and Zocalo.  Lots of people will be crowded around to watch this while many related souvenirs are sold along.  You can find people waving national flag, trumpets, hats and scarfs in green/white/red.

跟著是9月16日是在 Paseo de Reforma ( el Angel de la Independencia ) 和 Zocalo廣塲上的遊行、樂隊。這幾處都會被圍得水洩不通，許多相關的紀念品也會在附近出售。你可以見到很多人揮舞著國旗，帶有綠色/白色/紅色的喇叭、帽子和圍巾。

At this month, it is also the season for serving Chile en Nogada, and many familities will be having this dish for celebration.
在這一個月，也是Chile en Nogada的合時季節，很多家裡都有這度菜來慶祝。

墨西哥好去處－銅谷+芝娃娃 Vamos a Copper Canyon + Chihuahua （三）

Chihuahua is the stepping stone for visiting copper canyon and travellers can do the city tour easily in half-day or 1 day.
This city is with very important position in Mexico History where the revolution leader is executed here after arrest by Spain.
芝娃娃 是前往銅谷的踏腳石，旅客可以半天或1天作城市觀光。
這個城市在墨西哥歷史上具有非常重要的位置，革命領導者Miguel Hidalgo被西班牙逮捕後，就是在這裡行刑。
Chihuahua es el primer paso para visitar Cañón del Cobre y los viajeros pueden hacer el tur de la ciudad fácilmente en medio día o un día .
Esta ciudad estaba con una posición muy importante en la historia de México, donde se ejecuta el líder de la revolución después de la detención por  España.

Palacio de Gobierno is where this history is introduced with those paintings on wall.  One of the rooms is specific for Miguel Hidalgo with his statue.

Casa Chihuahua is the museo with temporary and permanent exhibits, and it was the prison where Hidalgo was detented.
Casa Chihuahua是Hidalgo被困的監獄,有不同的臨時和永久展品。
Casa Chihuahua es el museo con exposiciones temporales y permanentes, y que era la cárcel, donde Hidalgo fue retén.

實用資料 Practical Information － 

1. 從墨西哥城坐飛機前往約3小時，Aeromexico班次較密，但 Volaris價格平宜很多。From Mexico City,it takes around 3hrs to fly there.  Aeromexico is with more flights daily while Volaris is the cheapest option.
2. 住宿豐儉由人，有規模的酒店如 Palacio del Sol (www.hotelpalaciodelsol.com)，經濟的如 Motel Maria Dolores (www.motelmariadolores.com)，任君選擇。For accomodation,  the classy hotel like Palacio del Sol or the budget hotel like Motel Maria Dolores can be picked according to personal budget.
3. Casa Chihuahua是不許拍照，把相機帶入也不可.  It is not allowed to take photo or carry your camera in Casa Chihuahua.
