1. How to go - Suggest to join day tour from Palenque since it s a bit expensive to arrange
the transport yourself. Can be 1000MXN by taxi to Agua Azul with the driver waiting.
My recent tour at March 2012 cost around 200MXN (only transportation to Palenque ruin, Misol-Ha, and Agua Azul, not include the entrance fee)

What are those cross carvings on the Grupo de las Cruces mean?

The Templo del Sol (Temple of the Sun),the Templo de la Cruz (Temple of the Cross), and Templo de la Cruz Foliada (Temple of the Foliated Cross), have 'cross' carvings in some buildings that  symbolize the ceiba tree, which in Maya belief held up the universe.

墨西哥好去處－Vamos a Chiapas (I)

Chiapas is located at south of Mexico and has many tourists attracted for the famous sceneries like Palenque, Canyon, Waterfall.

Chiapas州位於墨西哥的南部,吸引了不少遊客到訪Palenque，峽谷，瀑布等著名的風景。


Lets go to see the beautiful great canyon and  Sima de los Cotorros.
It can be a whole day trip with the start at climbing up and through the waterfall (Be careful, its an all-wet activities and get prepared)

Then you will be able to walk and cool yourself up in the river inside the canyon.

After that, take a snack to prepare for a climb at the cliff of  Sima de los Cotorros!
(It  is 160 meters across and a stomach-lurching 140 meters straight down. At the bottom is a small forest, a naturally protected summer nesting area for the sinkhole’s namesake residents: thousands of cotorras, or green parrots.
They enter and leave the sinkhole in an awesome cacophonous hurricane, flying in broad wheeling spirals and squawking incessantly.)
